Show sun position between sundown and sunrise

The sun position indicator currently works only between sunrise and sunset (which makes sense). I would like to see the sun position indicator for all hours of the day, possibly differentiated by making it a dashed line. In effect, it would be like the hour hand of a 24 hour clock.
