See suns altitude

In the presented 2D graphic, the length of the orange line that indicates the suns azimuth is inversely proportional to the suns altitude. A 2D scale placed along this orange line from zenith (90') and extending to the indicated curve of the horizon (0') would read directly the angle of altitude where the azimuth line intersects this scale.
