plot using Lat.,Long? for offshore

i am after plotting offshore instalations ,fixed and mobile by means of entering Lat,Long ( in decimals- ex N5650,23 E00102,05) to determine Day vs Night flying. Present system difficult to plot 200 Nautical miles offshore
