Know the distance of my line of sight to horizon.

I'd like to suggest adding a marking that represents the visible distance to the horizon from the point of origin (assuming perfect weather conditions and an aproximated earth curvature). The purpose of this is to figure out at any given point, where exactly will the sun rise and fall.

The calculations for this are fairly simple and are described at http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/badastronomy/2009/01/15/how-far-away-is-the-horizon/ . I believe elevation information is available from the map, although it'd be nice if I could specify it manually as well.

Regardless, this tool is absolutely fantastic. I will refer to it every time I want to plan some photos. Спасибо!

My favorite mmroey of Rex is when I saw him a week before the accident. Rex was coming home from work and as the keys jingled in the door the kids launched themselves down the hall like missiles smiles and “daddy” screams plowing into Rex as he came thru the door. Nina welded herself to Rex’s leg as Leila did the fastest waddle I’ve ever seen, beaming ear to ear. Rex proceeded to be the super dad make berry smoothie’s and chit chat with Nina who had everything to tell while holding Leila who wouldn’t let go. He gave Shirin that smile that only someone that loves you a million times over can give. I remember thinking wow they are so in love. I wish I could video that image and keep it forever for the girls and Shirin. Rex was truly an amazing dad and one of those people who you felt privileged to know. This is an unbearable tragedy and we hug our children tighter and give our spouses extra hugs. Rex I promise to you I will love your children like my own, cry with Shirin when she cries, laugh with her when she’s ready to laugh again and hug her tightly when she thinks of the smile you gave her when you walked thru the door. We love you Rex. Tyson, Chris, Sydney and Kayden.

Happy Birthday, John, and thank you for giving us so much aural plruasee. Missus. When - if - I grow up, I would like to be like you, only slightly less hairy. Also, well done on your performance on The Unbelievable Truth last night! You played the game like an old hand, and your lectures were very funny and unmistakably yours. Wanted to say so in person but, well, this is me we're talking about, so it doesn't happen, obviously! Hope to see you become a regular on the show now you've broken your duck... or quail.

Thank you, everyone. Rex is detieifnly the hero around here. He's had more rawhide chew toys than I could count, which has made him rather happy. Hopefully one of these days, I'll be able to sleep after it gets dark again. This really puts into perspective how very lucky we were it wasn't worse, and my heart goes out to those who experience or have experienced far worse.
