I'd like to be able to save specific locations so I can easily refer to them later.

When you have the map on the screen of whatever location you want to save, you can save the link. It will save the time and date info so if I wanted to see sunrise on a certain date I was taking a picture I would get the page the way I like it.
For 1 Front streeet - Sunrise on May 1 2013 at 06:10

I entered address of 1 Front Street East, Toronto, Ontario - the link I would save is http://www.suncalc.net/#/43.6468,-79.3767,17/2013.03.11/22:04
You can enter postal codes as well, entering postal code M5W 1E2 gives the following...

You can save a URL that works for a specific location AND date, but I haven't figured out how to just save the location but have the link work for the current date. For example, here is a URL for a location in Washington State with the date and time part of the URL removed: http://suncalc.net/#/48.2655,-121.125,8
