I need a view from directly above a scene

When trying to find out a shadow line from an object to another object such as a solar panel, the presentation provided does not provide a true shadow line if the objects are at different elevations due to parallax. From a view directly above the scene, the problem is diminished or eliminated. Google Earth currently provides this feature.
