SunCalc

Theres a hill at http://suncalc.net/#/-29.7146,-52.8391,12/2015.04.27/12:37 that I want to photograph with the sun setting behind it. The SunCalc shows the position were the Sun sets at that point, but what about where you must position yourself...

It would be very useful to have a function to work out average annual sun hours for the required location. Very useful for solar panels etc.

The keyboard doesn't pop up when I click on the search box. And "detect my location" also does t work.

Currently the infobox is located just under the google maps map/satellite selection, with these there are dropdowns with further viewing options that are blocked by the SunCalc infobox. Makes it difficult to view and change settings related to gmaps.

compare with elevation / topography data mixed with distance of obstruction to be able to see if a site ever gets winter sun, or if it is occluded by the hill it sits on and for what portion of the year. Whether a near by peak ever darkens the sky...

Allow option boxes to turn on representative sample days. Season transitions or the first of every month to get an at a glance view of where the sun lies across the year.

When in SunCalc you offer the option to display a location in Street View and this is fine. However, the option to get back to the Maps display is lacking in the Street View display.... Not that crucial but an annoyance that could be easily fixed.

i would like to find out about annual weather profile of specific region, based on recorded statistics.

As one zooms out, the map stays flat. It should reflect the curvature of the earth.

I would like to be able to see different views showing shadows from different elevations

I like the azimuth feature, but I need to do video traffic studies and it would be nice to be able to see whether the camera will be facing into the sun during the day from a street view standpoint

As a Nation, sunrise and sunset bare a great deal of improtance. It's imperative than distinguish between false and true dawn, and their evening twilight equivelents, your App can be very helpfull. All the Gratitude. User.

show the angle the sun is hitting the earth on the current sun position bar. in summer, much shorter path through atmosphere, winter long path, low angle.

I use this page to find sunset and to a lesser degree sunrise position on real estate that I am interested in. It would be great if I did not have to manually enter in each month to see the changes. a slide could do this...sliding from month to...
