change positions when the direction changes

I tried to change the orientation from north to south on google maps but the suncalc feature stayed the same making it seem as if the sun was now rising in the west so it needs to change as well with the rotation of google maps

Full map overlay of suns path....

Similar to the one used now, but covering the whole screen that would allow you to pick your location, and then on the screen display where the sun will rise and follow the line of the sun through the entire sky and show where it will appear to...

Put Lat and Long in the title bar.

Put Lat and Long of the location in the title bar after the "NOW" button and put degrees above horizon under the hours of the day.

Also show sun position at night.

Just like the orange line shows the suns position throughout the day, it'd be great to see a line showing the suns position at night. This is the absolute GREATEST app ever! Thank you so much.

divide the arc with dots by hour

Add dots for every hour on top of the arc so it would be easy to see the sun position at any hour of day

Draw line calculate date of rise/set along line

Photographers would like to know on what date a particular sun angle will occur. I have worked it out by moving calendar date by trial and error but how about moving a line to get the date along that line?

be great if it showed the impact of hills etc

A great app. I think it would be very useful if it showed the impact of topography on the amount of sunlight a place receives. i.e. if your house was at the bottom of a hill it would get a different amount of sunlight compared to a house at...

Android app & widget

It would be great to have this site as an Android app, with a simple widget showing the list of times, as it appears on the website

Make the red marker static, not dynamic.

When I put in my address it shows the red marker in one spot. That changes as I zoom in. When I let the app decide my location it changed again (both at the long view and when zoomed in). I am trying to actually see the sun pattern on my roof...

Cycle through days and watch Arc's move

If you can run through a full year and flow through each sunrise to sunset, you would see the arcs and move according to the day and time of the year, showing the full cycle of the sun through the year and each day looking like a clock that runs...

Show astronomical twilight and nautical twilight

Show all 3 periods of dawn - astronomical twilight (when sun is 18* below the horizon), nautical twilight (when sun is 12* below the horizon) and civil (0-6* below) twilight :-)

Number readout

With all your calculation it would be great if you could display the actual numbers, like sun angle at a specific time of day and the actual energy vector number. These numbers have to be calculated on the website, so just display them also.

Zoom Out. "Weather Forecast" blocks the '-' button

I would like to Zoom Out but I can't. The "Weather Forecast" link (to Wolfram Alpha) blocks the '-' button, even when I resize or move the window around.

Hi Vladamir, along the thin orange curve trajectory

Hi Vladamir, along the thin orange curve trajectory line can you add degrees in little numbers like a protractor. Or have a button to click and overlay a protractor....

see the "Map/Satellite" buttons...

The "About SunCalc" button covers the "Map/Satellite" button. Easily coded, move the "About SunCalc" button over about 50 pixels or so to repair this. This anomaly is easily viewed in Firefox v42.0.

Move it so it is on the left of the screen or on the right under the subset times

Show Sun position (Azimuth) in degres from north

When displaying the overlay of the Sun info, it would be nice to have the Azimuth displayed in degrees while moving the current time slider

have a slider for the date, similar to time.

There is a interactive slider for the time of date. I think it would be very helpful to have a slider for the date of year as well, so that I don't have to click around in a calendar.

Change the date to a time before the year 99 C.E.

When typing in the date text box 2 digits are considered 1900 or 2000 abbreviations. If I manually click the date popup's prev arrow it only will go back to the year 99 C.E. I would like to go back to an earlier time.
